Training and experience

I trained at a legal 500 regional firm in Kent following completion of the LPC in 2016. I qualified in September 2019 and have worked in regional, legal 500 firms since, practising all elements of private Family Law, both inside and outside of Court.

Specialisms

I cover all private family issues from divorce, children through to wealth protection (pre/post nuptials agreements). However, I have particular expertise in complex financial matters and same sex issues such as cohabitation and ToLATA matters.

Throughout my career to date, I have been instructed on complicated niche matters. These have provided their own challenges but been successful in reaching a fair (and often amicable) settlement.

Approach

Often I will explain that I’ll be your cynical best friend. I’m here to help and support you through what is often a really emotional and stressful time. Whilst I have the experience in law to be able to advise and navigate the legal process, you have the knowledge of your spouse or partner, and between us, we’ll make a great team to reach a hopefully amicable settlement.

Though it should be noted, I am not a counsellor or therapist and have some incredible contacts I can refer you too.

Accreditations

I hold the Resolution Specialist Accreditation in complex higher income financial remedies and cohabitation and ToLATA matters.

Outside of work

At present I have two little ones who keep me extremely busy. But when I’m not with them, you’ll either find me practising my roller derby skills (they’re not great!) or in a corner reading a nice book.
