Stowe Family Law (Stowe) – the UK’s largest specialist family law firm – continues to widen its nationwide presence with the opening of its 40th office in Oxford.
Helping to provide much-needed reassurance in a time of continued anxiety for many couples who have felt the strain of the pandemic on their relationships, the new office will help clients across Oxford access some of the country’s top family lawyers.
Since the global public health disaster struck, enquiries into the firm have increased by 81%*. Research looking into the motivations behind this increase conducted by the firm revealed that in the South East, nearly a quarter of people said their relationship had been negatively affected by the pandemic. Of those relationships that ended, 35% of people cited financial pressures, with 20% saying they had grown apart or had too many arguments, respectively.
The Oxford office is headed up by Senior Solicitor Gemma Davison, a trained mediator and collaborative law practitioner. She specialises in helping clients resolve financial issues and arrangements for children after separation with a non-conflict approach, avoiding lengthy and stressful court proceedings.
Gemma will be supported by Partner Amanda Phillips-Wylds and Solicitor Emily Beven.
