Becka Headley

Becka’s role is to assist the solicitors in the Exeter office, whilst also supporting the offices in the South West region. Becka will liaise with clients/ third parties and help clients prepare for court cases.  This can involve taking client instructions, drafting documents/ letters, preparing Court forms and bundles and issuing them to Court. Becka is able to attend court hearings to support clients through the emotional aspect of a hearing.

Becka prides herself on being supportive, empathetic and understanding towards the client’s circumstances, whilst also managing their expectations and providing realistic advice.

Becka is part of the Stowe Early Talent Programme in April 2025. She is currently embarking on the CILEx Level 7 Chartered Legal Executive Litigator and Advocate apprenticeship

Training and experience

Becka was previously a office assistant, Legal Secretary and paralegal at The Family Law Company Exeter before joining Stowe in 2023.

Becka has experience with cases regarding Abduction, International children matters and domestic violence.

Associate of CILEx (ACILEx); Associate of the Institute of Paralegals (A.Inst.Pa); Winner of Best Family Law Paralegal of the Year in 2024, Winner of Best Family Law Paralegal of the Year and Best Newcomer of the Year at the National Paralegal Awards 2021; and Highly Commended for Family Paralegal of the Year and Paralegal of the Year (South) at the National Paralegal Awards 2022.

Outside of work

When she is not working, Becka enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and walking her dog whilst enjoying the Devon beaches and countryside.
