Jennifer has experience in most areas of family law including divorce, financial remedies, domestic abuse, cohabitation and international family law disputes.
Jennifer has a particular interest in complex children matters such as international children cases and has a wealth of experience advising and representing clients in and out of Court.
Training & employment experience
Jennifer graduated with an LLB Honours in European, International and Comparative Law from the University of Sheffield in 2007. During her course, Jennifer spent time studying Finnish Law at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
After graduating, Jennifer stayed on in Sheffield and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2008. Throughout her studies, Jennifer volunteered for the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Services (CAFCASS). There, she assisted in the supervision of contact between children and their non-resident parent or relative at a contact centre in Sheffield.
Jennifer trained at Stowe Family Law and qualified in 2010.
Jennifer takes a firm but compassionate approach to cases to ensure that the client feels properly advised, supported and represented. She is practical, realistic and sensible in her advice and will always put the client first.
Outside of work
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, going out for meals, reading, socialising and going to the cinema or theatre.
