Martha is an associate in our London offices with experience across a broad range of private family law matters.
Martha has experience across a broad range of private family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, cohabitation disputes and children matters. She has a keen interest in cases which involve relocating children outside of the jurisdiction on a permanent basis. Prior to joining Stowe, Martha had a diverse practice area and is able to draw upon her knowledge of civil litigation and company disputes when dealing with complex and high-net worth financial matters.
Martha believes that open communication with her clients is key to understanding their priorities and setting realistic expectations. Martha appreciates the emotional strain family law matters can have on her clients and strikes a balance between empathy and a robust approach in order to achieve the best possible outcome.
Martha obtained a first class law degree at Keele University, before moving to London where she completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, achieving a distinction. Martha qualified as a solicitor in September 2020.
Martha has Higher Rights of Audience in Civil Advocacy and is also a member of Resolution.
Martha has a love for sports, particularly football and netball. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family (especially her dog!).
