Monica joined Stowe Family Law’s Midlands team in 2022.
Monica completed her law degree in 2012 and legal practice course in 2013 at the University of Wolverhampton and subsequently she was employed as a Court Usher at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre assisting District and Circuit Judges. Monica then trained as a Paralegal for a family law firm before moving to a further family law firm who had offered her a training contact, which she completed and later qualified as a Solicitor in January 2019. Monica has practiced solely in family law since qualifying as a Solicitor conducting a range of cases. Monica joined Stowe Family Law’s Birmingham team in 2022.

Complex Children Act proceedings for child contact and residence issues with allegations of domestic and child abuse, Prohibited Steps Orders to defend or apply for an application to restrict an individual’s parental responsibility and Specific Issue Orders to determine contentious issues regarding a child’s day to day life, in circumstances where parents are unable to reach agreement.
Divorce and Financial Remedy proceedings to end a marriage or a civil partnership and initiate Court proceedings to resolve the division of the assets held during the relationship. In the event it is appropriate efforts are made to resolve matters prior to the issue of Court proceedings and a Consent Order drawn up provided spouses or civil partners agree on the asset division.
Applications and responses to Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders as a result of allegations of domestic and child abuse.
