Demi Moore seeks spousal support from Ashton Kutcher

Demi Moore has officially filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher and is seeking spousal support plus legal fees, according to the Daily Mail.

Kutcher, 35, filed his own divorce papers in December, according to the New York Post. Moore, 50, responded with her application to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday. She is demanding spousal support from the That 70s Show star, as well as attorney fees incurred in divorce proceedings.

The couple are jointly worth around $285 million. Ashton Kutcher is one of the highest paid actors on US television, earning $24 million last year for his starring role in sitcom Two and a Half Men. His personal fortune is estimated at $135 million while Moore’s is closer to $150 million. It is reported that talks broke down over money, after a year trying to reach a settlement out of court.

Moore cited irreconcilable differences for the reason behind the divorce. The couple have been separated since November 2011. Kutcher was alleged to have had a one-night stand two months before the split, with ‘party girl’ Sara Leal.

Kutcher has been dating actress Mila Kunis since July.
