Wife divorces comedian Marcus Brigstocke

The wife of comedian Marcus Brigstocke has filed for divorce amid allegations of infidelity, the Mail On Sunday reports.

The 39 year-old comedian is best known for his appearances on The Now Show and other BBC Radio 4 comedy programmes. He  is reported to have moved out of the family home in Wandsworth, south London, and to now live in a nearby flat.

The paper quotes divorce papers referring to a year-long relationship.

The comedian met current girlfriend Hayley Tamaddon while performing as King Arthur in musical comedy Spamalot, an adaption of 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Brigstocke was married to Sophie Prideaux  for 12 years and the couple have two children.
