Jennifer Lopez plans to feature her 2011 separation from Latin singer Marc Anthony in upcoming 3D concert film Dance Again.
The 43 year-old performer married Marc Anthony, one of the world’s biggest selling salsa singers, in 2004 and the couple had twins, now five, before separating in 2011. The following year Anthony filed for divorce.
But the cameras were already rolling by that point and Lopez reportedly wants the film to portray her life ‘warts and all’. She told New York radio station Z100 that the film would include footage from her divorce.
“I’d been through a big change in my life with the divorce and everything, and as crazy as we are, we thought, ‘Let’s put that on camera!’ ”
Last year the actress and singer described her split from fellow New Yorker Marc Anthony “devastating”, telling Hollywoodlife.com that she had initially struggled to get out of bed in the mornings.
Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again is due for release this summer.
