A legal advice panel for parents has launched by family support organisations Only Mums and Only Dads.
The Family Law Panel is made up of legal experts accredited by the specialists’ organisation Resolution. Parents undergoing divorce and separation who apply for help will be connected with professionals in their region who can provide free advice.
Bob Grieg is Co-Founder of both Only Mums and Only Dads. He said:
“Using our Panel to offer a full and free “diagnostic” conversation helps parents by outlining their options. Parents come to us often fraught, confused and believing they are in some way stuck, or ‘bound to lose’.”
Resolution represents family lawyers and professionals ”committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes”. Earlier this year it condemned government plans for a steep rise in divorce court fees.
