Stowe Family Law and the Olympics may appear totally unrelated, but there is in fact a connection through the world of dressage. The firm currently sponsors a member of our own team in their horse-riding ambitions.
Lindsay Hancock is a secretary in Stowe Family Law’s Leeds office. When she’s not working, however, she is a talented equestrian. She has competed throughout the country and hopes to one day make it all the way to the Olympics.
She was recently featured in an article by Everything Horse magazine shortly after her victory in a competition at the Somerfield Premier League Dressage event.
During the interview she discussed how she started dressage at 17 years old and that by the time she turned 21 she had “caught the dressage bug”. Lindsay recalled the sacrifices her parents made to buy her a horse named Bacchus, and talked about the events the two of them have competed in. She also discussed her ambitions for the future.
She said that none of this success could have been achieved without her family and sponsors, whom she “cannot thank enough”.
Lindsay added:
“Marilyn Stowe of Stowe Family Law LLP … has been extremely supportive, allowing me extra time off work for training and competing, as well as supporting me financially with entry fees to major competitions”.
Stowe Family Law will continue to support Lindsay in her efforts and we hope to see her compete on the global stage at the Olympic Games one day.
