QC David Basil Williams has been appointed to the Family Division of the High Court.
The veteran barrister will become the Honourable Mr Justice Williams on 2 October. Currently with the central London family law set 4 Paper Buildings (‘4PB’), he was first called to the Bar in 1990 and became a QC four years ago – a process known as ‘taking silk’. He became a Deputy High Court Judge earlier this year.
4PB welcomed the announcement on Twitter.
Congratulations to David Williams QC on his appointment to be a Justice of the High Court.
