Stowe Family Law, the country’s largest specialist divorce law firm, has been shortlisted for two Bristol Law Society (BLS) awards: Lawyer of the Year for Managing Partner Jemma Slavin and Junior Lawyer of the Year for Solicitor, Rachel Fisher.
Held as part of the Bristol Law Society’s Annual Gala Dinner, the awards are designed to celebrate the success of the society’s members and the wider legal profession in the area.
Jemma Slavin said:
“I am honoured to have been nominated for Lawyer of the Year at this year’s BLS Legal Awards. Since qualifying, I have practised family law exclusively and I am passionate about supporting people through an often difficult and emotional time. We opened the Bristol office in February 2018 and I am proud to be working in this fantastic city and legal industry.”
Recognised for their expertise in all areas of family law, the divorce law team at Stowe Family Law specialises in resolving complex financial matters and protecting the welfare of children following a divorce or relationship breakdown.
Jemma continues:
“I am delighted that Rachel has also been recognised for her hard work and dedication to her clients and the legal sector in Bristol. Through her role as the Chair of the Bristol Junior Lawyer Division (BJLD), Rachel supports law students, trainees and junior solicitors at a critical stage in their careers.”
The awards will be presented at the Bristol Law Society Awards gala dinner on Thursday 24 October at the Bristol City Marriot Hotel.
