Stowe Family Law expands into Newcastle
Stowe Family Law (Stowe) – the UK’s largest specialist family law firm –has widened its regional presence by opening a new office in Newcastle, its first in the North East region.
The opening of the Newcastle office is the firm’s 38th nationally and part of its ongoing country-wide expansion, helping to provide much-needed reassurance in a time of continued anxiety for many couples who have felt the strain of the pandemic on their relationships.
Since the global public health disaster struck back in March last year, enquiries into the firm have increased by 81%*. Research looking into the motivations behind this increase conducted by the firm revealed nearly a quarter of people living in the North East said Covid- 19 had a negative impact on their relationship. Of those relationships that ended, 75% of respondents said they did not have any concerns or tension before the pandemic.
The Newcastle office is headed up by the new appointment of Partner Nicky Hunter, who is experienced in all aspects of family law, including advising and representing clients in the process of divorce, unmarried separation, financial settlements and child law matters. Nicky is also a trained Collaborative Lawyer.
Nicky will be supported by Partner Neil Dring, Solicitor Claire Chisnall and Regional Director for Yorkshire & the North East Rachel Roberts.
