Manchester family law firm expands
Stowe Family Law (Stowe) – the UK’s largest specialist family law firm – continues to grow its presence in Manchester with two new solicitors joining the team.
This growth will help the team to support more clients as the firm notes a continuing increase in the number and complexity of new enquiries due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the global public health disaster struck back in March last year, enquiries into the Manchester office have increased by 72%*. Research looking into the motivations behind this increase conducted by the firm revealed over a third of people living in the North West said Covid- 19 had a negative impact on their relationship.
Of those relationships that ended, 73% of respondents said they did not have any concerns or tension before the pandemic, with 25% of couples separating due to a lack of communication,
The new additions to the team in Manchester are Solicitor Michael Compston and Solicitor Tamara Adams who both joined this summer.
Joining from BLM LLP, Michael supports clients on all types of family law work, including divorce, cohabitation issues, financial settlements, non-molestation orders and child law cases. Tamara joins from Bromleys Solicitors LLP and brings experience in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements and child arrangements and has experience of cases involving domestic abuse.
