Two new appointments at the Stowe Family Law Manchester office

August 2, 2018

There have been two new appointments at the Manchester office of Stowe Family Law, the UK’s largest specialist family law firm, with Michelle Ashworth joining as Senior Solicitor and Gareth Curtis being promoted to Managing Partner.

Michelle joins us with nearly 20 years’ experience in all aspects of family law particularly divorce, cohabitation, children matters and division of assets. She specialises in high-net-worth cases that involve complex financial transactions and has worked on cases involving assets held in foreign jurisdictions, complicated trusts, family businesses and property portfolios.

She said:

“I am delighted to join Stowe Family Law and have the opportunity to work in the heart of this great city on Cross Street. My recent training in Psychology has provided me with an alternative perspective when supporting my clients and helping them to achieve an amicable resolution.”

Joining Stowe in October 2017, Gareth practices a broad range of private family matters with a speciality in financial remedy cases.  He advises wealthy individuals and professionals involving complex financial matters, businesses and Trust arrangements. He also has extensive experience in cases involving freezing injunctions, maintenance pending suit actions and financial provision for children.

He said:

“I am delighted to have been promoted to Manager Partner at such an exciting time for Stowe Family Law in Manchester. We are attracting an ever-growing caseload of clients and this has driven the need to recruit another senior solicitor, with plans to recruit more.  I am thrilled that Michelle has joined the team. Michelle is highly driven, experienced and has a reputation as an outstanding lawyer. Michelle also has a diverse experience of family law issues.”
