The study analysed historical divorce data to evaluate how successful marriages are in each town and city in the UK, as well as how likely they are to end in divorce based on where people live.
Using an interactive database loaded with publicly available UK divorce data, the study compares the number of divorce applications by postcode to the national average divorce rate, revealing how likely couples are to stay married based on where they reside.
Bolton Divorce Rate
Results include:
- Overall, Bolton has a divorce rate that is 2.45% higher the national average.
- The BL0 postcode area has the lowest divorce rate which is 1.60% lower than the national average.
- The BL1-BL9 postcode area has the highest divorce rate which is 2.45% higher than the national average.
