University of Bradford

The University of Bradford is a technology university with over 50 years of cutting-edge research experience. We help support their excellent work through the Stowe Family Law Prize, which is awarded to the best performing student within the family law cohort. We also provide mentoring and placement opportunities to students.

Candlelighters

Candlelighters bring light to families affected by childhood cancer by providing emotional, practical and financial support. Besides that, they also invest in vital research to improve the outcomes and lives of children with cancer. We are a corporate supporter of their Team 500 Club initiative.

Leeds Community Foundation

Leeds Community Foundation Membership enables individual and corporate supporters to make a huge difference to local communities. Our business membership enables the Leeds Community Foundation to deliver grants and provide trusted expertise into Community Organisations, creating meaningful social impact for thousands of local people each year.

St George’s Crypt

St George's Crypt is developing a range of state of the art, bespoke accommodation solutions for homeless and vulnerable adults.

One such initiative is our Growing Rooms drug and alcohol abstinence program which is going from strength to strength; changing the lives of clients with histories of addiction. Growing Rooms is the only residential abstinence-based drug and alcohol recovery programme in Leeds. Our donation enabled them to buy brand new pillows and quilts for the Growing Rooms project.

Leeds Mencap

Leeds Mencap is a completely independent charity, started by and for those with learning disabilities. They support more than 450 families and individuals on their journey with learning disabilities, and are on hand to provide advice, support and long-term help to both individuals and their families. We are a member of their Leeds Mencap Business Club.

Leeds Women’s Aid

Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is an independent charity, formed in 1972, providing services to women and children affected by Domestic Violence & Abuse (DV&A). They provide a range of services for vulnerable women and families who are victims and survivors of abuse of all kinds. As a business supporter, we help them carry on their vital work.

Sunshine and Smiles

Sunshine and Smiles aim to improve the lives and opportunities for children and young people with Down syndrome. They offer speech and language therapy, regular groups and activities, individual support and advocacy for families, and raise awareness and challenge preconceptions in the wider community. We are proud to be one of their corporate supporters.

St Vincent’s Centre

St Vincent’s Centre are a Community Support Project of the St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales) dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals and families in Leeds. They have a wide range of services under one roof, so can help each person in ways tailored to meet their specific needs. Their professional team help people who are struggling financially, without employment, education, social networks and community support, in a judgement-free way to help them build a brighter future. The Craft Centre & Design Gallery

The Craft Centre & Design Gallery showcase the talent, skill, originality and beauty of contemporary craft made by craftspeople based in the UK today. We are proud to be one of their corporate supporters.

Emmaus UK

We are delighted to support the purchase of a new cooker for the companions of Emmaus Leeds. The charity do a wonderful job of providing homes and meaningful work to people experiencing homelessness in the city, and I would encourage other local businesses to get involved wherever possible.

MAP Charity

MAP (Music & Arts Production) Charity offers BTEC qualifications in Creative Media and Art & Design, alongside Maths and English, to 11-16 year olds. Their education provision is positioned alongside the charity’s work with businesses and creative partners. We are proud to be one of their corporate supporters.

Barca-Leeds is a community based charity, a registered company limited by guarantee. We are an organisation that delivers transformational projects for adults, children, young people and families in Leeds, connecting them with services that respond to the needs of each individual.
