Our Local Richmond Partnerships
In Richmond, we’ve built strong links with local organisations that provide vital help to the community across this part of London. We believe in doing our bit for these groups as they work to support families across the borough.
From supporting the Richmond Food Bank to working with local universities, including Brunel University, University of Roehampton London, to support the next generation of legal talent through sponsorships and career guidance. We have partnered with the School of Law at Middlesex University to support the next generation of family law professionals. We sponsor a prize for outstanding academic achievement, awarded to the undergraduate student who demonstrates exceptional performance in the Child and Family Law module. The winning student receives a cash prize or the opportunity to gain real-world experience through a two-day work placement at our Stowe Family Law Camden office.
In Richmond, we have established a partnership with St Mary’s University, Twickenham, to support aspiring lawyers. We offer a dedicated prize for the top-performing student in the Year 2 Family Law module. This award includes two days of work experience at our Richmond office, providing students with a close insight into the complexities of children and family law and helping them bridge the gap between their studies and legal practice.
We also work with the NACCC, a national charity that helps children stay in touch with their parents after a family breakdown. While they operate across the country, they have a vital network of centres here in London that provide safe spaces for families to meet. We’re proud to support the NACCC’s work in helping local families stay connected during those tough times.
Stowe Giving Back Fund
We created the Stowe Giving Back Fund as a way for our team to nominate their local charities that they are passionate about and most important to them. With this, our lawyers, including our London lawyers, are able to provide financial support to the small local groups and charities that do vital work across the city.
We’ve partnered with GoodPAYE to help our team, including our London lawyers, support the causes they care about through tax-free donations. These tax-free donations mean the charities receive more, helping our team make a bigger difference to local communities and national organisations alike
Resolution
Many of our London lawyers are proud members of Resolution, an organisation dedicated to resolving family disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational way.
Our team, including Daniella da Silva, Anna Stinton, Barbara Marques, Rosanna Hounslow and Phoebe Turner, focuses on finding solutions that protect the well-being of the whole family. They are joined by many other members of our wider London team who are equally committed to this constructive approach, ensuring that families have support through this difficult time.
