Bindu specialises in private matrimonial matters and has 12 years’ post-qualification experience in family law, assisting clients with a range of issues following relationship breakdown – divorce/separation, cohabitation disputes, domestic violence, children and division of financial resources. She also assists with pre/post nuptial agreements and cohabitation and separation agreements.
Bindu is a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer and Family Mediator.
Bindu encourages amicable and practical solutions where possible but if not she will firmly guide clients through the court process.
Training & Employment
Bindu attained her LLB (Hons) Law Degree in Southampton before studying the Legal Practice Court at Guildford. She went on to qualify in 2005 in Berkshire and then returned home to Hampshire working for a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked firm in Southampton and at a well-known regional firm in Winchester.
She recently moved to North London and worked at a niche international firm as the Head of Department before joining Stowe Family Law.
Bindu’s exposure to diverse work and various regions means that she has significant experience of family law. She is able to understand the needs of her clients and the importance of constructive and cost-effective advice.

Outside of Work
Outside of work, Bindu is a supporter of the good work that charities do. She has taken part in a number of running events and undertook a Sky Dive for the Southampton Hospital Charity raising funds for the elderly care wards. She was also a Time 4 You volunteer at Southampton General Hospital, spending time with patients that did not have visitors.
