Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is finalising plans to marry fiancée Sally Humphreys, a34 year old theatre and  television producer.

The wedding, planned for next year, will be the 65 year-old musician’s third. Reports suggest  they have settled on a May wedding at the Dorchester hotel.

The pair were recently seen outside a London registry office where they are reported to have been planning the event.

According to reports, the legendary guitarist had previously spoken of getting married to Ms Humphreys on New Year’s Day, saying he wanted to start 2013 with a party.

The pair originally met nine years ago when Wood staged an art exhibition at a theatre where she worked. He is also a noted painter.

The guitarist split from his second wife, Jo Wood, in 2008 after 24 years of marriage, when he began relationship with a 21 year old Russian cocktail waitress and model called Katia Ivanova. She filed for divorce and they granted a decree nisi in 2009.

Afterwards Jo Wood said of Ivanova: Jo “She did me a favour. She’s become me, having to look after Ronnie full time. And I have become her – free and single.”

Ronnie Wood joined the Rolling Stones in 1976.
