Liverpool divorce rates by postcode

Liverpool-based Stowe Family Law, the UK’s largest specialist family law firm, has conducted a study that reveals divorce rates for every postcode in the UK.

Using historical divorce data, the study has revealed how successful marriages are in every town and city in the UK, and how likely they are to end in divorce, based on where people live.

The study uses an interactive database, loaded with publicly available UK divorce data to compare the volume of divorce applications by postcode to the national average divorce rate revealing how likely couples will stay married based on where they live.

Results include:

• Overall, Liverpool has a divorce rate that is 34% below the national average.
• The L40 postcode area has the highest divorce rate which is 112% higher than the national average.
• The Liverpool postcode area L7 has the highest marriage success rate with a divorce rate that is 29% below the national average.
