The hot topic of wills was the focus of the interviews as Marilyn explained the decision made by the Court of Appeal to award a third of a mother’s estate to the daughter, despite her being left nothing in the will.
The decision to award the daughter part of her mother’s estate has sparked debate with many media outlets covering the story. Marilyn Stowe believes that the Court of Appeal’s ruling was the correct decision and it was simply enforcing the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
