Stowe Family Law has strengthened its Yorkshire roots by opening an office in York, its sixth in the county. This brings the firm’s national presence to 19 offices, reinforcing its position as the country’s largest specialist family law practice.
Headed by Managing Partner Chris Birch, who also oversees the firm’s Beverley office, and supported by Partner Claire Ward, the York team bring a wealth of family legal knowledge to the city. Chris specialises in complex divorce cases involving significant assets, trusts, and investments, whereas Claire has a particular interest in cases involving family farms and agricultural businesses.
As with all the firm’s offices, York will have access to the firm’s network of nearly 70 specialist family lawyers, together with its in-house Forensic Accountancy team who are trained to examine financial disclosure specifically within divorce proceedings.
Stowe Family Law CEO, Charles Hartwell said:
“Stowe Family Law now has more specialist family lawyers than any other firm in the country, enabling us to provide the very best legal knowledge and experience to our clients. With 24 family lawyers in Yorkshire alone, no matter what circumstances our clients face, we can expertly guide them through to the best result. I am very proud of the firm’s Yorkshire roots and opening an office in York was a natural step in the firm’s journey.”
The office is in the Tower House Business Centre on Fishergate, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of this historic city.
