With a thorough knowledge of all aspects of family law, Mark’s particular specialty is dealing with the financial implications on the breakdown of a marriage for mid to high net worth clients.
Mark continues to assist clients in relation to their children, whether it be over the time each parent is to spend with the child or with whom the child should live. Mark also deals with cases where permission has been sought from the Courts for a parent and child to relocate to a foreign jurisdiction and recently helped a client where the Court had to decide on how a child should be educated.
Training & employment experience
Educated at Stonyhurst College, Mark studied Geography at the University of the West of England Bristol, and then taught English as a foreign language in Naples, Barcelona and Seville for around three years. However, during the time he spent on this endeavour, Mark always knew he would go into the legal profession at some stage. He earned his PGDL and LPC at the Old College of Law in Birmingham and has specialised in family law since he qualified in 2006.
With a keen eye for detail, he ensures that no stone is left unturned. Mark is known for the practical approach that he brings to matters and is committed to dealing with cases in a constructive manner, putting the client, their interests and objectives, first and foremost.
Outside of work
Away from the office, his time is spent ensuring that his two young boys have a full appreciation of everything that rugby and cricket have to offer. When he has the odd quiet moment, he can be found reading his extensive collection of cook books.
