Stowe Family Law is please to announce the opening of its lovely new office in Queen Square, Bristol.
After Beverley, Esher and Manchester, Bristol marks the firm’s fourth new office in less than 12 months, an unprecedented rate of growth enabled by the investment of private equity firm Livingbridge a year ago.
We are delighted that Jemma Slavin will lead our Bristol team as Managing Partner of the Bristol office. Jemma has earned an excellent reputation as an outstanding family lawyer since qualifying in 2005. In addition to helping many clients through divorce, separation and disputes concerning children, she has also worked extensively in complex financial cases featuring property matters, pension questions and offshore trust assets. Her previous case work across Surrey and South Wales frequently included High Court hearings.
“It’s great to be given this opportunity to work for such a prestigious law firm.”
Joining Jemma will be Rachel Fisher, who studied at the nearby University of Law in Bristol. Since her qualification, Rachel has worked on divorce cases, cohabitation issues and financial remedy proceedings. She has also helped clients with agreements reached via mediation, and assisted former couples struggling to agree how much time their children should spend with each parent. Rachel is also Chair of the Bristol Junior Lawyers Division.
Stowe Family Law CEO Charles Hartwell said:
“The opening of the Bristol office marks another exciting chapter in Stowe Family Law’s history. Bristol has a buoyant legal sector and I’m delighted that Jemma and Rachel have chosen to join us there. They will both fit perfectly into our expanding national team.”
“Very soon we will have over 50 specialist family lawyers working for us across the country. All are selected not only for their legal knowledge and skills, but also their ability to relate to our clients and understand and support them through what can be an extremely difficult and emotional journey.”
