Marjha Golding-Evans

Marjha specialises in High Net Worth Divorce and Financial Settlements, with a focus on handling complex cases involving farming and business/company disputes.

Training & experience 

Having studied at Nottingham Law School and the University of Law, Marjha began her legal career in London in 2005 and qualified in May 2010, following completion of a training contract at a boutique London law firm.

In 2014, Marjha relocated back to Wales and led a team at legacy firm Burroughs Day in Bristol, later joining the growing family team at Irwin Mitchell. In 2021, Marjha joined specialist firm RDP Law to relaunch the family team, where they were shortlisted for Family Team of the Year at the 2022 Wales Legal Awards.

Marjha has a strong strategic and commercially-minded focus and thrives in a team where she can build strong individual relationships as a leader.

Marjha joined Stowe’s Cardiff office in November 2023.

Marjha’s influence extends to legal advocacy, actively participating in the lobbying for No Fault Divorce and being invited to speak at significant events, such as the Law Commission’s ‘Reform of Financial Provision’ debate at the House of Lords in June 2023 and the CLA’s ‘Next Generation’ event at The Royal Welsh in July 2023, showcasing her as a notable figure in the legal community.

Outside of work

When Marjha is not keeping up with the lively antics of her exuberant 6-year-old, she can be spotted on the sidelines of a rugby pitch, passionately backing her daughter’s games or energetically cheering for Wales.  Marjha also channels her enthusiasm into the culinary realm, orchestrating delightful meals and hosting gatherings that bring family and friends together around a bountiful table.

Marjha is a professional member of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and actively contributes to the organisation by serving on the South East Wales branch committee. In November 2023, Marjha was elected to the CLA’s national LPPR committee (Legal, Parliamentary, and Property Rights) which plays a pivotal role in shaping the CLA’s policies.
