To help you reach a fair financial settlement, our Cheltenham divorce lawyers work closely with an experienced in-house accounting team. They bring exceptional depth and breadth of expertise across tax, real estate, valuations, trusts, accounting, and pensions.
To achieve equitable and tax-efficient agreements, the team takes a commercial approach and regularly works with external wealth and business consultants. Their experience includes offshore trusts, funds, corporate structures, and inherited assets passed down through generations.
The cost of a divorce depends on your personal circumstances. Once your solicitor has a clear understanding of your situation, they can provide an initial estimate tailored to you. Divorce costs can differ, particularly if there are financial settlements or child arrangements to consider. For more information, see our guides on divorce costs and pricing. If you are separating amicably and your divorce is straightforward, we also offer a fixed-fee divorce package.
If your case cannot be resolved by amicably, you will attend Cheltenham County Court and Family Court. Most of our cases are settled out of court, but if your matter proceeds to a hearing, your solicitor will ensure that you are fully supported and thoroughly prepared throughout.
Cheltenham County Court and Family Court is located at Court Offices, Kimbrose Way, The Docks, Gloucester, GL1 2DE. The court sits within the Gloucester Docks area, close to Gloucester Quays and the Gloucester Waterways Museum.
If you are travelling by train, Gloucester railway station is approximately a 20-minute walk away. From the station, head towards Bruton Way and follow signs for Gloucester Quays and the Docks. As you approach the waterfront, continue towards Kimbrose Way, where the court offices are situated within the main court complex.
If you are travelling by car, follow signs for Gloucester city centre and Gloucester Quays via the A430 or A417. Once in the Docks area, follow local signage to Kimbrose Way.

We believe that our role as family lawyers involves supporting the wider Gloucestershire community both inside and outside the courtroom. This is driven by our sponsorship of the Stowe Family Law Prize at the University of Gloucestershire, which supports students entering the legal industry. We also had a partnership with the University of Law, where our Team Leader Partner, Zoe Carter, provided insight into getting into family law.
We are proud to be a partner of Gloucester Rugby and support the essential conservation work of the Cotswold Way Association. We aim to help create a supportive environment where local families can find the stability they need to move forward with peace of mind.
