Baljinder Boughan

Training & experience 

Baljinder undertook her Undergraduate Law Degree at Sheffield Hallam University and completed her LPC at the University of Sheffield and BPP Leeds. She qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019. Baljinder progressed from a Legal Assistant to NQ Solicitor at a High Street Firm in Sheffield called Bell and Buxton Solicitors before transitioning to a niche family law firm called Austin Kemp Solicitors in Leeds. Baljinder worked there from June 2021 to March 2024, advancing from a Solicitor to Associate Solicitor and Team Leader.

Baljinder joined Stowe’s Sheffield office in March 2024.

Specialisms

Baljinder specialises in handling all aspects of separation and divorce and their implications, including divorce proceedings, financial matters, children’s issues, court proceedings, non-molestation and occupation orders, domestic abuse cases, and disputes between unmarried couples. She also finds fulfillment in working on cases involving international elements, such as when one of the parties resides abroad or when certain assets are located overseas.

She aims to ensure that her clients feel secure and happy as they move forward with their new lives.
