Specialisms

Kate has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, financial settlement upon divorce (including high net cases), private child care arrangements, pre and post nuptial agreements.

Approach

Kate focuses on listening to client needs and tailors her advice based on the client’s situation and the solution sought. Kate takes a non-confrontational approach to cases and where possible she tries to reach agreements out of court, which helps to reduces cost and stress. However, when appropriate she is confident dealing with court proceedings.

Accreditation, memberships and awards

Kate is a family mediator – she mediates on all family law issues including divorce, finances and child arrangements. She is a member of the Surrey Resolution and Surrey YRes committees.

Training and experience

Kate qualified in 2016 at a Legal 500 regional firm in Surrey/ London before moving to a legal 500 highly regarded boutique family law firm in London. She then worked at two regional firms in the home counties where she specialised in family law before joining Stowe. She has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, finances, private child care arrangements, pre nuptial agreements, unmarried couples.
Kate joined Stowe’s Guildford office in June 2024.

Outside of work

Kate enjoys practicing sports such as swimming, mountain biking, trail running, road and gravel cycling, triathlon, skiing, canicross running with her dog.
