Training & employment
Lucy studied Law at the University of Essex, graduating in 2011. She undertook the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bloomsbury in 2012, achieving a distinction. Lucy qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and has practised exclusively in family law since.
Lucy is a member of Resolution and ex-Chair of Essex Yresolution. Lucy is also a volunteer Mentor for the Social Mobility Foundation as she is passionate about access to the profession.

Lucy is experienced in dealing with all aspects of family law. She advises clients on divorce, financial matters, cohabitation, domestic abuse, private children disputes, special guardianship, international relocation and adoption. Her work often has an international element, working across multi-jurisdictions. She has particular experience in dealing with complex private children disputes, including various safeguarding issues and cases involving parental alienation.
Lucy regularly advises clients with modest assets to high net worth clients in relation to financial matters following relationship breakdown. She also has extensive experience of advising clients on nuptial agreements, with assets in the UK and abroad.
