With my experience in family law spanning 20 years, I have advised a wide range of clients. My specialism in financial settlements has covered cases with straight-forward assets to more complex issues including multiple properties in the UK and abroad, pensions and commercial properties.

Specialisms

Cath has over 20 years experience in all areas of family law including finances and child-centric resolutions. Financial matters can range from straight forward to the more complex issues such as multiple properties in the UK and abroad, pensions and commercial properties.  Cath can assist with pre/postnuptial agreements and dealing with the complexities arising from separating cohabiting couples.

Cath is a member of Resolution.

Training & employment experience

Cath began her legal career as a legal secretary, progressing by undertaking legal studies through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) part-time in the evenings.  Cath qualified as a Fellow Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2011.

Approach

Cath is committed to providing her clients with the best outcome possible, delivering that outcome with total empathy, compassion and understanding throughout the case.  Cath can, however, be robust with her opponents and is not afraid to take a stance to maintain her client’s position when circumstances dictate.

Awards

Cath was nominated for Professional Woman of the year in the Dorset Venus Awards for the most highly qualified woman who excels in her professional occupation.

Outside of work

Cath enjoys spending her time with her husband, children, grand-children and walking the dog.  Cath also enjoys theatre, concerts, holidays and evenings out with her friends.
