Training and Employment
Olivia read law at Keele University and obtained her law degree in 2013. She went on to complete her legal practice course and master’s degree at the University of Law in Chester in which she obtained a distinction in family law. She qualified as a solicitor in May 2018. She is currently undertaking her PhD (part time) at Cardiff University. Her thesis will focus on religious family law in the UK and practitioners’ experiences.
Olivia trained in a well respected legal aid firm based in Manchester. She has experience of divorce and finances, child arrangements, domestic violence, cases with an international element and emergency/without notice applications.
Olivia is a member of Resolution.
Approach
Olivia is very client focused. She gives clients firm, realistic and practical advice, whilst always being sympathetic to their individual needs. It is imperative for Olivia to obtain a satisfactory, fair outcome for her clients.
Outside of work
In her free time, Olivia loves to go on walks in the countryside with her beagle Brian! She loves to spend time with family & friends, attend her local gym and shop!
