Specialisms

Daren specialises in divorce and the financial aspects of family law, with the aim of helping clients resolve matters by agreement. He also has extensive experience in financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation disputes and pre/post-nuptial agreements.

Daren has a vast amount of experience of complex Children Act cases which involve domestic abuse, safeguarding concerns and drug and alcohol related issues.

Training, qualifications & employment

Daren obtained his law degree at Brunel University before qualifying as a solicitor at a high street firm in Norwich in 2013. Daren joined Stowe Family Law’s Chelmsford office as Partner in early 2022. He also supports the Bishop’s Stortford office.

Approach

Daren is empathetic and he takes the time to listen to a client’s concern, before providing them with the appropriate advice which is tailored to their individual circumstances. He aims to assist clients in what will be a stressful situation for them, by making the process as easy as possible.

Outside of work

Daren enjoys spending time with his wife and he is an avid Liverpool fan.
