Debbie is a specialist in all aspects of family law. She has substantial experience in dealing with divorce and its financial consequences. Debbie has assisted clients who have difficulty in understanding the process and/or providing instructions. Debbie represents clients with regard to arrangements for children including both internal and external relocation. In addition, Debbie also frequently advises unmarried couples and assists in disputes regarding property rights.

Debbie is an active member of both Resolution and Young Resolution, sitting on the Young Resolution Committee. She is also a member of the Family Law Panel.

Training & employment experience

Debbie studied Law at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, graduating in 2007 with an LLB (Hons) 2:1. She then continued her legal training at BPP Law School in Leeds. In 2010, she joined a major national law firm as a trainee solicitor for two years before qualifying as a solicitor in their family law department.


At the outset of a case Debbie seeks to understand what is important to her clients to enable her to appropriately support. She is compassionate and understanding while providing sound and realistic legal advice.

Outside of work

Outside of the office, Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as keeping fit, running and playing for a local netball team.
