Gareth is the Managing Partner of Stowe Family Law’s Manchester office and recently opened Stockport office. He has a wide range of experience in family law with a specialty in financial remedy cases. His cases involve high net worth individuals, professionals and cases involving complex financial, business and Trust arrangements. He also has a wealth of experience in cases involving freezing injunctions or maintenance pending suit actions. He advises upon, and drafts, prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. Gareth also takes a particular interest in cases involving financial provision for children where the parents are unmarried and cases involving cohabiting couples.
Gareth is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is qualified as an Arbitrator in financial remedy cases, cases concerning Schedule 1 of the Children Act and Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
Training and Employment
Gareth secured a 2:1 at the University of Manchester in Law and Government. After attending the College of Law at Chester, he trained in Manchester and qualified as a Family Law specialist in October 2003. Prior to joining Stowe Family Law, Gareth worked at a multinational law firm for over ten years.

Hailing from Stockport, Gareth is married with a little boy. He is also keen Arsenal fan and likes to keep fit, has an interest in politics and history and enjoys reading.
