She has advised and represented clients who are going through the divorce process, those who have not yet been married but need advice on relationship breakdowns and clients who are not married yet wish to bring financial claims against a partner over their child/ren.
Lesley’s experience includes cases involving significant capital and income. She is comfortable dealing with business structures and valuations, trusts and different types of pensions.
Training & employment experience
She was educated in Sheffield and undertook her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham University. Lesley has always specialised in Family Law and in 2001 moved to a large corporate firm in Manchester to concentrate on ‘high net’ worth cases and the financial aspects of marriage breakdown. Whilst there, she was mentioned in The Legal 500 and Chambers directories.
Lesley is a ‘people person’ with client care at the heart of what she does. She is able to give concise, clear advice at all times using her wealth of knowledge and experience. She is able to form a strategy for her cases giving effective and commercial advice throughout.
Outside of work
Lesley enjoys the gym when she has time and also watching different sports.
