Naheed has experience of all aspects of family law including divorce, financial issues, relationship breakdown, pre-and post-nuptial agreements and children; often working on substantial and complex cases.
She is an expert at private law disputes concerning children and complicated child arrangement issues and has an interest in cases with an international element including temporary or permanent removal from the jurisdiction.
As part of her career so far, she has developed a network of extended independent advisors including accountants, financial advisors, actuaries, jewellery experts and chartered surveyors.
Naheed is familiar with the cultural sensitivities facing Asian clients as well as the financial complications caused by assets being held or paid for by the extended family. She has expert knowledge of Sharia law, Talaq and dowry and is fully conversant in Urdu and Punjabi.
Training & Employment
Naheed studied law at the University of Westminster and completed her legal training at Oxford University. A highly experienced family solicitor, she has previously worked as a Head of Department in the Reading office of a top London law firm, allowing her to gain experience of ultra high net worth family cases.
She is also a personally recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 Directory where she is acknowledged as a solicitor who: ‘brings depth of knowledge and sound judgement to sensitive and complex cases’
Naheed’s approach is to work with the client from the onset to get a result that is right for them. She is very approachable and ensures that her clients are comfortable and at ease with the course of proceedings taken.
Outside of work
Away from work she devotes her time to her two children, aged 12 and 7.
